History and presentation of the school

Integ Bilingual College – IBC is a private secular school complex built since 1975 by Lydia and Mathieu TZOUMPE and opended to the public in 1976.

First called the Institute of Economic and Management Techniques – INTEG, it was only in 2015 that it took its name of Integ Bilingual College, since it has also hosted in English-speaking section.

The school city, built in the city center of Douala and ranked among the oldest colleges in the city is recogonized by the Cameroonian National Ministry of Education.

Today, IBC aims to be a multidisciplinary college and high school. In a setting of around 3 hectares in Akwa and welcomes nearly 1,000 students in French and English sections.

All these young people come from almost all the districts of the city of Douala and are prepared for the GCSE,  „Probatoire“, General and Technical high school diploma. 

Students who give themselves the means are guided towards success in their studies and their personal development. To carry out our mission, all the actors are mobilized, in particular the parents who have their place in a constructive and serene dialogue. Welcoming a student to IBC means entering into a contract between themselves, their parents and the college. Education contract based on confidence and rigor which will allow each young person to prepare for the rest of studies beyond the high school diploma.
